How I Detox My Body of Heavy Metals

Eat These 5 Foods

Well according to Anthony William you need 5 foods to successfully detox the body of heavy metals. Those 5 foods are wild blueberries, barley grass juice powder, spirulina, Atlantic dulse, and cilantro. All 5 foods are to be consumed daily within a 24 hour period. Meaning you can have them all at once like in the Heavy Metal Detox Smoothie he created or separately, like I do. Yes… you read that correctly. I do not drink the smoothie because 1) I don’t really care for the flavor and 2) I actually make another smoothie that helps me heal my liver using pitaya.

How to Detox the Body of Heavy Metals?

In the morning about 20-30 minutes after drinking my 16 oz of celery juice, I make myself a spirulina shot. It’s just freshly squeezed orange juice with 1 tsp of spirulina. You can definitely use water or any other fresh fruit juice. I prefer using orange juice because it masks the sea flavor oh so well, making it quite pleasant to drink.

Along with my spirulina shot I have some sliced oranges and some pieces of Atlantic Dulse. If you are like me and don’t really care for the sea flavor of dulse then you must try it with oranges. I promise you, it will take that not so pleasant flavor completely away. This combination is a very delicious sweet and salty snack. It’ll be having you eating dulse by the handfuls.





Then I make the Liver Rescue Smoothie. Which helps me get in wild blueberries as it is one of the ingredients of this smoothie. I also add in 2 tsp of barley grass juice powder. It’s the perfect way to get it in, especially for children as they won’t even know it’s in there. The smoothie is a meal in itself so sometimes I have this for either brunch or lunch depending on my appetite.

Then last on the list is cilantro and I usually just sprinkle it over what ever I’m having for dinner. Most of the times I am either having soup, salad, or some sort of steamed vegetables which all seems to go with cilantro.

Now there are a couple of important things to keep in mind. Quality and purity of these foods make a difference. Here are just a couple of pointers to help you successfully get rid of these heavy metals.

  • Use barley grass juice powder versus barley grass powder
  • Make sure you are using a clean non-toxic spirulina
  • Be sure to use Atlantic dulse as it is the cleanest one out there
  • Lastly it must be wild blueberries versus just blueberries where the fruit is colored white on the inside. You want the wild blueberries which are dark blue on the inside.

And there you have it, my way of getting in all 5 heavy metal detox foods in one day. By doing this we will help stop these metals from causing havoc to our health and support our bodies to heal.
