Changing the way we eat can be very daunting. Over the years, I have learned that eating is a huge part of our everyday life. For many of us changing the way we, can be as big as changing a job or moving to a new place to live. At first we are a little uncomfortable, things don’t come with ease, and life seems a bit more challenging. But as time goes on, we get comfortable with that change, it tends to get easier, and it starts to become the norm.

So if you were asked the question, “Do you want to be healthy?”….I have a feeling that almost 99% of you would automatically say, “Yes”. You see wanting to be healthy, isn’t the problem. The hesitation or block for most of us lies in the lack of knowledge on what to eat, how to prepare it, how to keep it in our budget and how to fit it in our busy schedules. Those questions alone make us quit before we even start.

I know that there are a ton of information on the internet on, where to begin, beginner meal plans, or even grocery shopping on a budget. You can easily educate yourself on everything you need to succeed. But…researching and reading all this information can take a ton of time and honestly it can be overwhelming. For me this was a HUGE roadblock. I felt the need to be an expert (or just really knowledgeable) in order to succeed or even proceed. I also wanted every tool possible like a spiralizer, a juicer, and even a dehydrator. But looking back at this, I am realizing this was just another excuse I was making for myself. Just another block in the road.

As you can see, all of those questions and uncertainty comes from within. We are the ones who create the sense of difficulty. I want to share that if you keep it simple and make small changes you can achieve your goal of being healthy. I get a ton of people who are interested in the way I choose to eat, which is awesome, because that means they are possibly looking to make some changes. But the most common reply after they inquire is “I don’t think I can do it”. I’m here to tell you “Yes, you can!”

In my next post I’m going to share with you the journey of 3 people with 3 different diets. Each were able to make a change and achieve the 1 common goal….to heal and live a healthy life. Stayed tuned for the next post!!!
