Happy New Year!!!! I hope that 2016 is off to a good start for all of you. I haven’t written any posts in awhile because life just got a little hectic. I now have some time again so I’m going to pick up where I left off and continue to share my journey to a healthier me.
I’ve learned so much in 2015 and am excited to continue to learn more in 2016. Last year I did a sugar detox for 8 weeks and that really changed me as a person. When I did that detox I learned that sugar is in almost everything that we eat. I also learned how emotionally attached I was to sugar. Since my sugar detox I did go back to incorporating sugar but I have kept refined sugar at a minimum. I will explain the reason for that in another post.
Now on to 2016… my plans are to share more healthy recipes and any new health information that I find. I am committed in continuing to share my personal journey that includes my successes and challenges in hopes to inspire others. Maybe this will finally assist me to create the lifestyle I have been searching for.
