Berry Boost Smoothie

This smoothie is one of my favorite ones that I drink every day. It is a crutial part of my heavy metal detox. In this one smoothie I am able to get 2 of the 5 critical foods that are great in expelling heavy metals out of the body.

Recipe:
1 cup of frozen Wild Blueberries
1/2 cup of frozen Raspberries
4 Medjool Dates
1 Banana
2 TBSP of Hemp Seeds
1/4 tsp of turmeric
1 tsp of Barley Grass Juice Powder
1 tsp of Wheat Grass Powder
1/2 cup to 1 cup of water

First, I fill the blender with 1/2 cup of water. Then I add the banana, hemp seeds, turmeric, barley grass, wheat grass and dates. Last I add all the frozen fruits so that they avoid the heat from the blender. This method is known to help keep the frozen fruits cold so that they are able to keep more of their nutrients.

If the consistency is too thick then add more water and blend again. The texture is based on preference and on what I am having. I usually like it thicker for a smoothie bowl that I top with fruits. But if i’m in the mood for a smoothie I’ll add more water.
